If you’ve never walked the main street of Almonte, you NEED to. It is just the cutest town and currently the town I live in! I was SO excited when Melissa and Jake decided to have their engagement session in Downtown Almonte! Melissa was actually a bridesmaid in one of the 2021 weddings I photographed so it was super fun to see her again! We wandered the main street and hung-out by the water and it was absolutely perfect!

HOW HE ASKED

Melissa and Jake went on a vacation to a beautiful golf course in Nova Scotia called Cabot. They were on the golf course overlooking the ocean while the sun was setting and he proposed. She of course said yes! What a special place to get engaged! They now officially have an excuse to back there since it holds a special place in their heart!
