Intimate Backyard Wedding in Almonte| AMY & BRODY

This intimate backyard wedding in Almonte was a day full of happy tears and tons of laughter. It may have down poured most of the day and a tornado warning might have gone off on everyones phones during their tented ceremony but the day was still magical.

Before the ceremony, Amy and Brody decided to do a first look and it was the most precious moment. The rain had stopped and Amy walked up behind Brody and tapped him on the shoulder. As he turned around to see her for the first time, tears immediately began. Which then led to Amy crying as well. They were both smiling ear to ear as tears of joy trickled down their cheeks. The best part of the first look, is that it’s just a moment between them and they actually get a moment to chat and tell eachother how beautiful they look.

Amy’s Maid of Honour and Bridesmaid were close by ready to help with some quick makeup touch ups so we could go straight into some Bride & Groom portraits while there was no rain.

Moments before the ceremony was to begin, it started to down pour. And I mean, down pour. It was the type of down pour that you can’t hear anything else but the rain hitting the roof. We waited it out and as the rain died down, the ceremony began. In the middle of the ceremony everyone’s phone alarms went off alerting us of a possible tornado. No biggie, the ceremony must go on. There was no stopping this wedding.

After the ceremony the sky cleared up just in time for us to run out and grab some family formal images. I took the last picture before I left when all of a sudden it started to pour again. We just finished up the last picture, and the party continued on under their tented reception area!

Their day may have looked a little bit different than originally planned and it may have rained all day but these two seriously still had the most perfect day.
