An Ottawa Sunflower Engagement

Carley and Pete decided to do their Ottawa engagement session in a sunflower field during golden hour and it was absolutely beautiful. We ended up having the field to ourselves at Scotch Line Farm. They actually let you reserve a time to use the field for pictures so you don’t have to worry about working around other people visiting the farm.

Their reasoning behind choosing the sunflower field for their engagement session is because the sunflower is Carley’s favourite flower. She even has a tattoo of a sunflower on her shoulder! It was the perfect fit for these two.

These two got engaged while away on vacay! The fun thing about planning to propose on a vacay is trying to get the ring there without her noticing. Luckily he made it through no problem, she didn’t suspect a thing! The day he decided he was going to pop the question, it actually ended up being a more rainy, colder day. He kept trying to get her to take a picture with him on the beach and she kept saying it was too cold. He ended up giving up on that idea and just popped the question in the spot they were in. She of course, said yes! These two are so cute together and just look at Carley’s hair, it’s friggen beautiful!!
