Tara and Mark had a beautiful Temples Sugar Bush wedding held in the late autumn. They held their ceremony and reception indoors in the timber framed reception hall with the beautiful stone fireplace as their altar. Although everything was indoors, they were more than willing to head outdoors for their formal photos! It was definitely worth braving the chillier weather!
Tara and Mark welcomed their sweet baby girl into this world in August so they were able to have both Mark’s son and their Daughter be there with them on their wedding day. Mark’s son had the honour of being the best man on their day. Their daughter was too young to have a specific role in the wedding but she got to come down the aisle with Tara’s mom during the ceremony and enjoyed the reception with her noise cancelling headphones on.
They put a little twist on how to get the bride and groom to kiss during the reception. Instead of the clinking of glasses or singing songs they left a wedding mad libs card at each table. The table had to complete the mad libs and then read it out loud if they wanted the couple to go in for a kiss. It made for some pretty funny marriage advice. After dinner they cut their cake and went straight into first dances. They ended the night off with a little dance party in front of the fireplace.
