Melissa and Dylan’s Calabogie Peaks Wedding was absolutely breathtaking. There was a beautiful view of the water during their ceremony and the reception overlooked the peaks. They had a fall infused colour pallet in all their decor and the weather could not have been any better.

They each had their own room at the Calabogie Peaks Resort to get ready in on opposite ends of the resort. The girls began their day with a little champagne pop and the guys hit up a round of golf before getting ready. Their getting ready space backed onto the peaks which made for a beautiful backdrop for photos. Melissa opted to do a first look with both her bridesmaids and her dad. Both moments were super special and filled with so much joy.

Once everyone was ready we made our way across the street to the island ceremony location. Jolene, their dog, lead the way down the aisle with an adorable heart shaped wooden sign that read “My human’s are getting married”. Following Jolene were the cutest little flower girls and ring bearers. Dylan ended up facing away from the aisle and didn’t turn around until Melissa was coming down the aisle. As soon as he turned around all the emotions hit and his eyes began to water. As Melissa and her dad approached the altar, it was all smiles between the them!

After the ceremony, we completed all of their family photos, wedding party photos, and bride and groom portraits. Once we completed those, it was time to enter the reception! Many beautiful speeches we given during dessert with their first dances following that. As soon as the dance floor opened up, the kids tore it up! They were able to dance up a storm to Baby Shark and Wheels on the Bus and then the DJ shifted everything over to bring the adults up onto the dance floor and the party began!
