Jessica and Jeff’s late-August wedding at Evermore Weddings & Events in Almonte, Ontario was full of heartfelt moments. With soft, overcast skies and a colour palette of sage green, neutrals, and creamy florals, their entire day felt elegant, relaxed, and beautifully timeless.
A Peaceful Morning in Two Locations
The morning began with Jessica and her bridesmaids getting ready in Evermore’s cozy guest house. The space was full of laughter, meaningful details, and that excited energy that makes wedding mornings so special. The bridesmaids wore flowing sage dresses that complemented Jessica’s romantic lace gown perfectly.
Jeff and his groomsmen got ready at The Grand Hotel in Carleton Place, a short drive away. The hotel’s character made the perfect backdrop for their getting-ready portraits. Their neutral outfits paired beautifully with Evermore’s rustic charm later in the day.
A First Look Beneath the Willow Tree
One of the most memorable moments of their day was their first look. We chose the pathway between the guest house and the barn, with Evermore’s iconic willow tree creating a naturally romantic backdrop. The overcast lighting made everything soft and even—perfect for capturing such a heartfelt moment.
After their first look, we explored the grounds for portraits with their wedding party. The soft greens and beige tones looked stunning against the wooden fences and lush Evermore landscape.
A Heartfelt Ceremony Filled With Joy
Their ceremony took place outdoors, surrounded by Evermore’s beautiful grounds. Jessica and Jeff exchanged vows surrounded by their closest family and friends, and the joy on their faces as they walked back up the aisle was unmistakable.
A Candlelit Barn Reception
Jessica and Jeff’s reception took place inside Evermore’s iconic barn, and it was nothing short of magical. Long harvest tables were decorated with greenery runners and candlelight, creating a warm, inviting glow throughout the space. The crystal chandeliers in this venue add the perfect touch of elegance.
Their first dance took place inside the barn, surrounded by family, friends, and soft candlelight, such a sentimental moment that set the tone for the evening.
Parent Dances Under the Sail Tent
Later, the celebration moved outdoors under the sail tent for their parent dances. The open-air setting, soft lighting, and emotional moments between everyone created some of the most heartfelt images of the day.

From their peaceful morning to their candlelit reception, their day radiated love. Their entire celebration reflected exactly who they are, kind, grounded, and deeply connected. It was an honour to capture their day from start to finish.
