It is becoming more and more popular for wedding photographers to offer a COMPLIMENTARY engagement session when you book them as your wedding photographer and there are many reasons why an engagement session with your wedding photographer is a lot more important than you think!
Doing an engagement session is a lot more work for me but I honestly beg every single couple to do an engagement session with me because without an engagement session, you actually will receive LESS portraits on your wedding day!
The engagement session is such an important part of the wedding experience! During the engagement session, I teach you my core poses and what some of my terminology means so that on the wedding day you know exactly what I am talking about! Less explaining on the wedding day means more time for more pictures! This means more portraits in your final wedding gallery! Who wouldn’t want that?
More importantly, the engagement session allows us to get to know each other a little bit before the wedding and gets you comfortable in front of my camera. I want you to feel like a trusted friend is showing up to shoot your wedding and not just some photographer you found on the internet. This is a vital part of the overall wedding experience with me and I want you to walk through that experience!
Everyone should do an engagement session even if its just 30 minutes or just a few days before the wedding because thats the only time you could fit it in. It is 100% worth it and makes your overall wedding experience so much better!
