The Watson Mill in Manotick is a stunning location for an engagement session. Jason had grew up in Manotick so it worked out to be the perfect location to capture their season of engagement. With the stone wall of the mill itself, the cream coloured concrete bridge with beautiful light posts along the way, and access to the water, the Watson Mill has pretty much everything you could want in an engagement session location.

How he asked

Jessica and Jason were heading over to Europe for work for the year. So, their family and friends all got together with them for a bit of a going away party. He had a bit of help with keeping the ring hidden from her. As they all gathered in for a group photo, the ring was discretely passed over to Jason. He then got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. She had no idea he was going to ask her and she definitely said yes!! He bought her ring through Stor by Margot and it is STUNNING.

They then got to celebrate with their closest family and friends right away. It was the perfect way to kick off their new adventure together abroad.
