The Wedding Day
Sarah and Rob put together a beautiful fall wedding at the Beckwith trail just minutes away from Carleton Place. They tried to do as much as they could on their own and had a lot of great friends and family that put in a lot of work to help them make their day the absolute best!
They created the most beautiful arch for the altar on their own. Their neighbour cut down a few logs for them and they put them together and added some white and light blush florals along with some greenery and Burgundy leaves to the arch.
The evening was filled with lots of happy tears and laughter as everyone listened to the heartfelt speeches and danced the night away!
The Proposal
Rob proposed to Sarah a few days before Christmas. She had gotten home from shopping and was ready to have some mimosa’s with Rob and their friends. She decided she wanted one before they got together with their friends. Just before she went to take a sip, he said “hold on there’s something we have to celebrate”. Sarah was so confused, she was trying to figure out what she should be celebrating when he got down on one knee. She then quickly put it together and of course said yes. She had been planning their wedding since before the proposal so she was SO READY for this!
