Aquatopia Wedding | JESSICA & JASON

bride and groom photos with detail photos from Aquatopia Wedding with Brittany Navin Photography

I am beyond excited to share Jessica and Jason’s beautiful wedding day that was held at Aquatopia Conservatory in Ottawa, Ontario. Their wedding occurred on the exact date that Ontario moved into stage 3 of re-opening and it honestly felt like such a normal wedding. Not everyone could be there but they still were able to have a decent number of guests and dancing was finally allowed to happen again after over a year of it not being allowed! Their day was absolutely breathtaking, filled with a ton of love and kind hearts.

Throughout the entire day, you could really feel how much their family and friends truely care about them! They actually planned a pretty cool moment to happen during the speeches. Growing up, Jason loved superman, and so his dad pulled out a superman cape right before his speech and put it on. During his speech he wanted Jason to know that he was surrounded by a ton of supermen that would always be there for him and then everyone pulled open their shirts to reveal their superman t-shirts underneath, the girls had superman T-shirts to hold up, and they even included a superpup. After this, his dad decided it was time to pass on the cape and it was now Jason’s turn to take the reins. Once his dad put the cape on him, someone yelled out to run around the room, so that’s exactly what he did!

Jessica’s Aunt Anita handmade Jessica’s wedding dress using pieces of lace off of her late mother’s original wedding dress. Her dress was absolutely breathtaking and one of a kind. It’s a timeless piece with a TON of special meaning to it and is definitely a keepsake to have and hold onto forever.

To top it off, both of their grandparents made some amazing Italian cookies and pastries to serve during dessert. I just love how involved so many members of the family were in different areas of their wedding day.
