Shannon and Kyle’s wedding At The Schoolhouse in Munster was a very sweet and intimate wedding with those closest to them. The weather was all over the place before their ceremony! A wild amount of wind, on and off rain under some gloomy clouds, sun showers, and then finally the sun came out to stay out! Navigating their portraits after their first look had us running in and out as the rain started and stopped. Thankfully the sun came out to stay out before their ceremony began! Their ceremony was short and sweet followed by a wonderful dinner reception.
Their Story
These two met while they were teenagers working at a grocery store. They started out as friends and then a few years later began to date. They are generally a very casual and laid back couple so Shannon was surprised when Kyle had suggested they get dressed up and go out for a nice dinner with friends. Little did she know, they were actually heading to downtown Ottawa so he could propose to her with the beautiful view of the Chateau Laurier in the background. The funny thing is, she originally was going to ask if they could cancel their evening out because she had a rough day at work. But, he had invited one of her best friends that was from Montreal so she couldn’t bail! She of course said yes and her friend was even able to grab a few photos of it all!
