Breanne and Taylor’s Strathmere wedding was an absolutely lovely day filled with so many unique and personal elements! It all began with the inclusion of their beautiful pup, Nola in all of their details. They included Nola, on their envelope seals, their menu, a key chain, and more. Not only was she included in the little details, but she made an honorary appearance for their first look & portraits before heading to the puppy sitters. This was a huge deal because Breanne and Taylor actually live in Edmonton so when they flew over for their wedding, Nola flew with them so she could attend part of the wedding day!
Once Nola left for the day, it was time for their Ceremony. They asked their grandmothers to be the flower girls and it was the sweetest and funniest way to start the ceremony. They all started off so cute tossing their petals. Then, they got a pesky little look on their face and tossed the petals right into the guests faces. It had everyone in full on belly laughs!
Their ceremony was short and sweet but filled with personal touches that made the ceremony feel more true to them. It was absolutely perfect. After their ceremony we captured some additional portraits and then they mingled with guests during their cocktail hour before we snuck off for some sunset portraits.
They made their grand entrance into their reception space and dinner was served shortly after. The evening was filled with short and sweet speeches that filled the room with both laughter and tears. Afterwards, they had such a fun loving first dance under the string lights outdoors as the guests gathered around them. It was such a fun way to kick off the evening of celebrating!
