I have officially photographed the first engagement session of 2023! What a better way to start off the year than with a gorgeous snowy engagement session! Alexa and Matt dated throughout high school but ended up going separate ways. They ended up finding their way back to one another years later. Since reconnecting, they have been building their life together, with a beautiful family and home. Matt proposed to Alexa over the Christmas holidays in 2022, she of course said yes! They began planning right away and were lucky enough to secure a date in the early 2023 wedding season! We started planning their engagement session right away! They chose to do their engagement session in a gorgeous trail that is attached to the Benhaven Stables in Beckwith, Ontario. They also had an adorable litter of puppies with them so they could get photos with them before the puppies went to their forever homes.
We got extremely lucky with a fresh snowfall a couple days prior to their session and a mild enough temperature that no one froze while we were out there! Here are some of my favourites from this beautiful snowy engagement session!
