Mackenzie and Scott tied the knot a year ago in their backyard in a very intimate setting with their grandparents as their witnesses due to covid restrictions. With the restrictions being lifted this year, they were able to hold their Pakenham sequel wedding with more of their loved ones present. They had their full wedding party join them as they renewed their vows in front of family and friends. After their vow renewal they were able to hold the reception they had been waiting for. They had a beautifully decorated tented reception in their front yard filled with heaters to keep guests warm.
Mackenzie’s dad picked out their father daughter dance song when she was first born and didn’t tell a soul what he chose until their wedding day when it first played as they danced. It was one of the sweetest moments seeing those two dance together. To top it off, Mackenzie and Scott surprised her nan with a first dance with her. I highly recommend adding in a dance with a grandparent if you have a close bond with them. It was such a precious moment that they will hold very close to their hearts forever.
All and all their sequel wedding day consisted of tons of laughter, a few happy tears, really good food, and lots of crazy dance moves late into the evening. Below are some of my favourite images from their day!
