Jennifer and Brendan held a beautiful and cozy Temple’s Country Winter Wedding. Both the Bride and Groom got ready at separate locations in Kanata. We were in the middle of doing some getting ready photos with the bridal party when we looked outside and saw that it began to snow. Immediately we all knew their photos were going to be so dreamy with a fresh clean blanket of snow on the ground. The bridal party had champagne to pop and sip on in their limo as they safely made their way to Temple’s.

Their ceremony was held indoors by the cozy and warm stone fireplace and was beautifully officiated by Angela Giles. After their ceremony we took a quick group photo with everyone and then we headed outdoors for some winter wonderland photos. We ended up basically getting a snow blizzard on their wedding day which made for some really magical portraits.

After we finished up their formal photos, we headed back inside for their dinner and reception in the beautiful timber framed reception hall. There were lots of laughs and a few tears as some of their loved ones gave really beautiful speeches for them. The food was amazing as usual and everyone was very excited to hit the dance floor when it opened up! All in all, their day turned out perfectly!

HOW HE ASKED

Jennifer and Brendan have a routine of having a coffee and tea in bed together on weekends when they first wake up. On weekdays, when Brendan wakes up he always makes Jennifer a tea and brings it to her in bed to slowly enjoy as she wakes up for her day. On his birthday, she offered to be the one to go get the coffee and tea this time but he insisted that he be the one to get it. When he came back with the tea, it was in a hand painted mug with “Mrs. McClinton” written on it and the ring was hanging from the tea bag. He got down on one knee and said that all he wanted for his birthday was to be with her for the rest of his life. She of course said yes. The even more special part of it all is that the engagement ring belonged to his grandmother.

Below are some of my favourite images from their day!
