Baldachin Inn Wedding | AMANDA & ANDREW

Amanda and Andrew had the most perfect wedding at the Baldachin Inn, in Merrickville. They held their ceremony in the courtyard that is surrounded by the stone wall exterior of the historic building, with a beautiful water fountain in the center. The stone walls aren’t only an exquisite feature of the exterior, they are also exposed on the inside in the ball room reception location!

The girls began their day getting ready in the bridal suite while the guys got ready in another room located in the hotel. They guys made their way over to the pub once they were ready, here they had a few casual drinks together as they prepped for the ceremony.

Once the bride was ready, she had the cutest first look with her father before they got ready to walk down the aisle. Their ceremony was absolutely beautiful. After their ceremony, we completed all their formal photos before their grand entrance into the reception.

They opted for a buffet styled reception and no seating chart, so everyone chose where they wanted to sit. It was a very laid back but elegant reception! They started the evening off with speeches as guests finished up their dinner. The father of the bride had said during his speech “If you look at each other everyday, the way that you looked at each other today during the ceremony, you’ll make it”. You can certainly tell they love each other by the way they look at each other and he couldn’t have said it any better! After speeches, they had their first dances which lead to the opening of the dance floor. The kids had the adults beat in dance moves during the beginning of the dance floor opening and then later on, the adults warmed up to the idea of getting out there! We finished the photography coverage off just after they cut their cake!
