Surrounded by romantic green hills, centenary pines, and their closest family and friends, Anna and Spencer said their “I do’s” in Rome, Italy at Tenuta La Porta Sul Lago. With family and friends all over the world, they knew a Rome countryside wedding would be the perfect middle ground for everyone to join together in a heart-warming celebration.
These two met in while they were in grad school in Ottawa, Ontario working in the same lab. Their careers have taken them to many different locations around the world which has lead to many beautiful friendships around the globe. With friends and family in almost every continent and a love for travel, a destination wedding was an easy decision.
Their venue, Tenuta La Porta Sul Lago, is a lovely countryside villa with an open reception space that boasts olive trees as the centre pieces. The open side allows you to feel as if you are still outdoors overlooking the beautiful twinkle lights within the courtyard where the dancing takes place later on.
